The DeVale PF series isolated immersion thermal cutoff fuse line offer exceptional diversity in numerous applications. This accurate, reliable solution to high temperature limit protection is unparalleled. These devices provide protection from overheating by interrupting an electrical circuit when the operating temperature exceeds a predefined PF set temperature range. This series is designed to provide one time limit protection that requires replacement after activation.

The PF series is engineered within a durable housing case available in numerous materials including stainless steel, brass and select high temperature resin compounds. In addition, we offer custom design options that include unlimited shell housing configurations. This design is also available in several variations to accommodate most applications that require low or high amperage switching along with or without applied temperature; essentially providing use as a current limiter in addition to a high temperature limit device.

This line is available in a wide range of opening temperatures, providing design engineers a high degree of flexibility. The proper calibration will be affected by several application variables that include current derating-self heating, heat transfer through housing shell along with proper placement to allow sufficient heat sensing ability.
