The DeVale 1300 series immersion thermostats are thermally sensitive bi-metallic switch assemblies that are engineered within a durable housing case available in numerous materials including brass, stainless steel, copper, nylon, titanium, nickel plated steel, zinc plated steel and high temperature resign compounds. These devices are designed for applications where size constraints are considered with the thread size starting at 1/8" tapered or equivalent metric thread size. These devices are designed to either make or break an electrical circuit at a factory preset calibrated temperature with a choice of narrow or wide reset properties. This product line offers unmatched broad range of fixed temperatures with excellent thermal response permitting a clean and fast separation of contacts and can be used on circuits ranging from milliamps to 3 amps at 120 Vac and 2 amps at 240 Vac. Each thermostat must meet or exceed a quality control protocol that includes independent verification of temperature, resistance and dielectric integrity. Global safety agency approvals make this control series the smart choice for use in many products manufactured worldwide.
The 1300 series can be used as a safety device or as a controlling thermostat with optional reset characteristics that are inherent features allowing a broad range of reset options. These thermostats are available in both English and metric thread housings, with an assortment of terminations that include automotive type connectors, cords or wire leads, in isolated or grounded case configurations.
