The DV301C series is a snap action bimetal disc thermostat ¾" (19mm) that is designed to be attached directly to applications. These controls offer a broad range of fixed temperatures with excellent thermal response permitting a clean and fast separation of contacts. The internal snap blade is constructed adjacent to the sensors surface resulting in rapid response to temperature changes. The bimetal sensing disc is completely isolated from the electrical load so internal heating is not a factor. Only the surrounding ambient or application temperature allow the control to cycle. This product was designed primarily for use in higher amperage applications where a ½" disc type DV301A could not be specified.
This design series offer numerous choices of mounting configurations and directional terminals along with normally open or normally closed contacts and a manual reset design for applications where self resetting is not permitted. Please consult with a DeVale sales engineer for a complete list of design and mounting options available as stock product.
Each thermostat must meet or exceed a quality control protocol that includes independent verification of temperature, resistance and dielectric strength. Global safety agency approvals make this control series the smart choice for use in many products manufactured world -wide.
