The DeVale 3400 series bulb & capillary thermostat s are a fixed temperature manual reset design with an optional secondary fail safe feature that disables power should the sensing bulb/capillary fracture or a detection of sensing fluid loss. This control type is factory calibrated to a predetermined temperature setting shutting down the thermal circuit when this temperature is reached. The device will remain inactive until manually depressing the reset button. The principles of operation allow this design to be surprisingly cost effective and a leading choice for use in many applications where precision sensing is required while remaining on a tight budget. When temperature rises, the internal fluid located within the bulb expands through a capillary tube to an expandable diaphragm that is configured within the remote thermostat body. This diaphragm assembly activates the electrical contacts at the calibrated temperature set point. The optional fail safe feature is a smart choice in applications where excessive movement or where adverse conditions exist.
Standard calibration range from -35 degrees C through 300 degrees C. Optional higher temperatures available upon request. Control body rated at 125 degrees C maximum.
