Description:
The Model D601 Series is a shunt style bimetallic thermal temperature regulating or limiting device. This product is constructed of low resistance bimetal that does not carry the circuit current. The gold diffused electrical contacts make it an idea choice of protection in a large variety of application that require low or higher current switching capabilities.
Key Benefits:
- Low thermal resistance; allow limited internal heating
- Gradual switching reset with frictional close built in differential that varies from 2 C to 6 C make it an excellent choice for semi tight temperature controlling requirements on low amperage/voltage circuits.
- Preset temperature calibration that can not be tampered or adjusted in the field.
- Small cylinder shape and low profile size allow excellent application flexibility.
- Contact configuration is available as Normally Closed to open circuit on temperature rise. Another variation is available with Normally Open contacts ( D601R Series) constructed to close the circuit on temperature rise.
- The external case is electrically alive; optional form fitting, low thermal lag sleeving available in numerous materials and lengths.

Temperature Range and Tolerance:
Temperature range from 5 degrees C to 150 degrees C is available
Standard calibration tolerance is +- 5 degrees C with optional closer or wider resets available upon request.

UL and C-UL certifications range to 100,000 cycles of operation in accordance with T.I.R.E. protocol.
