Description:

The Model DV6AP Series Automotive Motor Protector is a highly effective control that is actuated by current passing through and by heat received from the ambient temperature. A unique internal heater provides additional current sensitivity to assist in getting OFF-LINE fast under fault condition. The electrical contacts are interrupted (OPENED) when the bimetal disc reaches its preset temperature. The contacts will automatically reset once the product cools to a safe predefined level. Each DV6AP temperature rating has a bimetal disc specifically manufactured for that rating. All DV6AP controls are 100% calibration checked for opening temperature and matched to customers specifications for consistent reliable performance in the application.
