Description:

The Model D600 Series is a bimetallic, creep action thermal temperature regulating or limiting device. This group is constructed of low resistance bimetal coupled with gold diffused electrical contacts which make it an idea choice of protection in a large variety of application that require low and high current switching capabilities.

Key Benefits:

• Low thermal resistance; allow limited internal heating

• Gradual switching reset with close built in differential make it an excellent choice for tight temperature controlling requirements.

• Preset temperature calibration that can not be tampered or adjusted in the field.

• Small cylinder shape and low profile size allow excellent application flexibility.

• Contact configuration is available as Normally Closed to open circuit on temperature rise. Another variation is available with Normally Open contacts (D600R Series) constructed to close the circuit on temperature rise.

• The external case is electrically alive; optional form fitting, low thermal lag sleeving available in numerous materials and lengths.

• 6amps/120 volts AC resistive load

• 12 amps/12 volts DC load

Temperature Range and Tolerance:

Temperature range from 5 degrees C to 150 degrees C is available

Standard calibration tolerance is +- 5 degrees C with optional closer or wider resets available upon request.

UL and C-UL certifications range to 100,000 cycles of operation (D601) in accordance with T.I.R.E. protocol.
