Description:

The Model D500-501-502 Series are a bimetallic, creep action low differential thermal temperature regulating or limiting device. The D500-501- 502 group are constructed of low resistance bimetal coupled with gold diffused electrical contacts that make it an idea choice of protection in a large variety of application that include personal care products, wall thermostats, heating pads, electric blankets and numerous others that require low and higher current switching capabilities. An excellent LOW-COST product with tested performance.

• Contact configuration is available as Normally Closed to open circuit on temperature rise. Another variation is available with Normally Open contacts ( D500R, D501R & D502R) constructed to close the circuit on temperature rise.

• The external case is electrically alive; optional form fitting, low thermal lag sleeving available in numerous materials and lengths.

• 6 amps/120 volts AC resistive load (see below)

• 2 amps/120 volts AC resistive load

• 3amps/24 volts DC load

Temperature Range and Tolerance:

Temperature range from 5 degrees C to 150 degrees C is available
Standard calibration tolerance is +- 5 degrees C with optional closer or wider resets available upon request.
